Has anyone read the new novel by Chetan Bhagat -"two States"? It’s a well written story about Love marriages in India. In most of the world if a couple are in love they get married, but in India they have to go through ever shrinking mesh of idiocy, especially when the couples belong to different background.

Love marriages are blocked not only by state difference but also Caste, religion, education, money, family, history of relatives & it just goes on. I don’t know whether its over protection or the strength of captivity that drives Indians to such a level against love marriages.
Hopefully our next generation would be more tolerant towards such issues.
