What was the longest book that you've ever read? For me, it was James Clavell's two-volume novel "Shogun" which was about a thousand pages. Surprisingly, I read it as a kid, and it wasn't assigned reading, either.

I would have to say the Twilight Saga. I think those books are pretty long, and I really enjoy them, so it works out great. I prefer long books to short ones, because I hate for the story to end!!

I prefer to read something that's about medium length, depending on how engaging it is. I'm not bothered by books that have pages in the three hundreds, but it's been a long time since I've read books that are over four hundred pages. I'm trying to work my way up to the books with five hundred or more pages.
