Default Library

Does anyone still visit their local library? I do. Ever since I came back home, I've been going to the library. My visits became more frequent once we canceled our internet service. I come not only for the books, but for the wifi which is really good. It's a great place for me to read and work.

Oh yes, I go to the library, too, for movies as well as books. I envy those people whose houses are right across the street from the library - wish I could live so conveniently close!

Ahh our local library doesn't really look like a public library. I think it is placed underground of the local park. >.< I've never been there and I also don't see so much people going there.

I live just five minutes from the library, so I walk there. I'm seriously at the library every day because even when it's closed, the wifi is still broadcasting. That's helped me so many times.

Oh, that would be almost a dream job for me! Unfortunately, our local library is not hiring...

What exactly do you do kaylaris? Was it hard to get this position?

It is a great job. I had to do a course at Tafe to be qualified, it was a 1 year course. I look after the computers systems and look after a team of 5 people.

I haven't been to the library for over a year when I needed to use their computer. Now, I buy books if I think I'll like them and I have a laptop so there's no need for me now. My dad used to always check out CDs there as well. I honestly forgot it existed lol

For many people, the library is just a place to study and use fast internet, but it's so much more than that. I like the selection of books available. They almost always have what I'm looking for, and despite budget cuts to the city, they're still adding to their collection.

I kinda miss going to the library and browsing through the books. It's so nice to be able to read books for free. I feel like maybe I should start going again once I read all the new books I have lol. I went crazy one day and bought a lot of them
