Default Where Are the Books?

Have you ever visited a person's house and not found a single book? For me, that's a little scary when I go to someone's house and not find a book, newspaper, or a magazine. I know that people read less and less, but I thought I would at least find a magazine.

I don't read much, but I can't imagine not having any books. That seems so strange to me.

I can't say that is something I really notice when I visit a person's house. I'm with Brittany. I could not imagine not having any books!

I do not see that many bookcases packed with books at people's homes, but I usually do see some books around - which is great. I don't remember who said this, but it is very true: "A person who can read but doesn't is no different from someone illiterate."

I am so glad that someone mentioned this topic because I thought I was the only one who noticed the lack of reading material in some homes. My mind goes crazy and I wonder what people do without something to read.

I've found that it's people with tidy little homes have nothing to read lying around. Just where it the TV guide? My house is pretty much the complete opposite. I have books all over the place--one the floor, against the walls, etc. I eve have books from the library all over the room. I know that sounds pretty messy, but that's makes me feel comfortable.

I have a ton of books. I have a bag of books that I've not yet read, boxes of books that I have read, and of course, one laying around that I'm currently reading.

There are so many books for me to read, too. Unfortunately, I don't have mine as neatly organized as you do, Joyjoy789. The only way I keep my books organized is by keeping the library books and my own separate from each other.
