Default Do you like scary books?

Do you like scary books? If yes, what are your favorites and what do you like them for?

I can't say I like them that much, but I handle such books much better than horror movies, LOL. I have read some of Steven King's works, they are smart and well written, not just plain scary.

I haven't heard of such books but I'd like to read one. I just wanna experience how it feels to be scared just by reading.

I don't read scary books as they are full of negative energy. I tend to stay away from everything that breathes negativity.

That's smart of you ButterflyEs. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to get scared just for the sake of getting scared. Horror is not my thing. If there are some frightening moments in a "regular" book, so to speak, it is fine though.

I've always liked scary books. My favorites are real ghost stories or things like that. I get really freaked out easy though, so I haven't been reading too may scary books lately. Any good suggestions?

I've always liked horror, and my mom could never understand why. I guess I don't, either. Perhaps there's an accompanying thrill that comes with being scared? Still, they're pretty fun to read because they tend to play on the darker parts of our imaginations.

I really used to like Stephen King books and also Goosebumps. It's been a while. I remember Goosebumps were some of the first books I ever read! I remember reading one per day haha. How I did my homework as well, I'll never know

I admire your courage how I wish I could stand scary stuffs. It really freaks me out sometimes and it keeps playing on my mind then I started getting paranoid.
