Default YA fiction

Even though I'm an adult, I still love to read young adult fiction. I don't mind going to that section in the library or the bookstore. There are still lots of good books being published for young adults. Have you read anything good for young adults lately? I'm reading Cornelia Funke's "Inkheart," and it's very entertaining.

In what age group do you have to be for being considered as a Young adult? The word looks like an oxymoron to me ! lol !

I'm really into all sorts of things. I don't think YA books will ever get old for me.

@Kangaroo-It really is, isn't it hahaha

The actual age group for young adults seems a little hard to categorize. I'm not sure what it is myself, and at the same time, there are books that I thought were just adult-aimed literature books shelved in the young adult section of the bookstore.

That is a tough question to answer lol.. All I know is I don't feel like an adult yet. However, I'm over 18 so I'm legally adult. I guess that makes me a young adult. But, when do people become OLD adults hahaha? Jk

I am reminded of the Quote - " We never really grow up- we only learn how to act in public" lol

I think young adult age is considered differently by different people. As a teenager, I was told I was a young adult, but now that I'm 25, I still think I'm a "young" adult. And yes, I still like to read young adult fiction.
