What was your favorite book as a child? Do you still have it? I loved to read a book called "The Book of Elves and Fairies." I've been trying so hard lately to find the book, but I can't remember where I put it.

I do not recall having one favorite book, but I loved fairy tales - all kinds of them, anything I could find. I did not know about fantasy back then, but I'm sure I would have loved it as well if I was introduced to it as a child.

My favourite book was 'Alice in wonderland' !!

There was one book that I read when I was in the third grade, "Harriet the Spy." I loved it. I saw the movie, and it was after watching it that I really knew that I wanted to be a writer. I was really inspired by the book.

As an older child/teenager, I read all of the Babysitter's Club books! I don't have them. They are still at my grandparent's house. I plan to pass them along to my daughters, if I ever have any.

Speaking of book series, I used to love reading the "Animorphs" and "The Magic Tree house" series of books. I never did finish the series. My library has "Animorphs." Maybe I should go back to reading them. I would love to know how it ended.
