Does anyone have a favorite author? I don't think I do. I like to read all kinds of books, no matter who wrote them. I guess I'm not the kind of person who reads everything a single author writes. I don't expect all of the books of a single author to appeal to me. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I feel the same way. I don't think it would be possible for me to choose one single author among all the ones that I like to read. Besides, I like reading various kinds of books and it is not realistic to expect one single author to write all the different genres.

I have so many authors that I like, but my top ones are: Richard Paul Evans and Francine Rivers, Ted Dekker. I agree that mostly likely if I read all their books, I would come across one that I did not appeal to me.

There is also the fact that new authors are joining the ranks of the popular ones every day and it is always great to sample their works as well, why limit ourselves to just a few writers after all?

You're definitely right about that. I'm glad that new authors seem to have a better chance at joining the ranks of the best sellers lists. I honestly don't care about how popular an author is, I just want to read something that's interesting.
