I would love to have a Kindle or another ereader. To have a Kindle is like bringing a portable library with you. For a book lover, which is the better from that? Do you have a Kindle? |

I don't feel the need for a Kindle. I read e-books with my Palm Treo. Works very well. I can download all kinds of books. However, it is great to have a mobile e-reader - whatever kind. I always used to bring a book along with me, but sometimes this was rather cumbersome. having a portable e-reader solves that inconvenience.

I love technology, but when it comes to reading, I have to go with traditional books. Even though I listen to audiobooks very often, my biggest pleasure comes from going to the library and picking up the books that I want or just walking into a bookstore to purchase a new one. I don't find books cumbersome at all and always carry one with me everywhere I go.

I don't have a Kindle. I wish I did. They seem nice and the pages really look like a books pages. I used to think that it would be rough on the eyes to read that way, but when I did a little research, I found out that the new ones have color and look just like a book page.

Yes, the Kindle just looks like a book page. They call it e-paper. It doesn't even glare when you use it outdoor, exposing it to the sun. I like printed books indeed, but the Kindle is my future dream.

| I saw someone who had this walking down the street one day, and I'm obsessed with technology so I could see myself getting one. However, there are some things that are best going with the original. I think I would miss turning the pages of the actual book. There's something satisfying about it.. looking at the book and seeing how far you've gotten. I'm not sure though.. it could be something I could get used to. My ex is crazy about them and really wants to get one. He didn't stop talking about it for days after we saw that guy with one. Are they expensive??? |

I don't have a Kindle, and I don't plan on buying one. To me, I think it's a little unnecessary. I can read e-books on my laptop, and I prefer to have a physical copy of a book in my hands anyway.

No, I don't. I might be able to get used to one, but I like the feel of holding an actual book too much. There is something special about it, it adds to the pleasure of reading. Yes, Kindle is rather pricy, too. |

It is nice to have that kind of convenience, and getting a Kindle is very tempting, but I am cutting unnecessary expenses, so it's not a must have item for me, even if I am always reading something.

| Well, there are two kind of Kindle available on the market: Kindle, Kindle 2 and Kindle DX. You can get the first Kindle (used) for about $ 100 +. Kindle 2 is more expensive, about $299, while the latests, Kindle DX costs $499. Hahaha....I don't blame you if you think I am a sales person of Amazon But I am not!

Your books might be deleted if you are using it.
