I always thought the mouth was the dirtiest body part. Or maybe it's just the stinkiest. I watched a documentary once on people whose job it was to sniff the effectiveness of odor controlling products. They sniffed pits, feet, crotches, and mouths all day long. They said that by far the worst smells were from the mouth.

I'd say the mouth or nose, from past hygiene courses these always seemed to give cause for concerns, I hope I'm right or nearly right ?

I thought it was the mouth and especially the teeth, which are apparently the most septic part of the body. A guy I know (not very well thanks god!!) hit someone in a pub fight and a bit of their tooth came into his hand, and the wound became gangrene!! ewww I know, but shows how dirty the teeth are!!

I would have thought its the mouth too. Brushing your teeth every meal won't assure you that its clean some products like mouthwash are on the market to adds up on cleaning. Its a turn off though having a bad breath and not paying attention to it.

I quite agree with the answer. It is indeed the mouth which got the most vote as the dirtiest body part since the tongue accompanies along the saliva which have a lot of bacteria in it.
