That wasn't so nice of your aunty!! Make a habit of always having some mints with you, so you can take them when you think your mouth smells. They say that bad odor is because of the bacteria in the mouth or when you have had sugary food, i don't know how much of this is true. But mints and chewing are the best bet. |

You are lucky to have such a good Auntie to tell you.. lot of good friends won't do that! I am prone to bad breath. I brush three times a day including my tongue and floss daily. It helps but my morning breath is the WORST.

My husband has a problem with his breath. I swear it is hereditary because his mother has the breath I have ever experienced! Sitting next to her in church is torture! Anyways....my husband always has a pocket full of mints. I prefer to chew gum to freshen my breath. |

i never had bad breath before. so, he might be right. if i solve my gum bleeding problem(which he said is only temporary and not to be worried about!), i may not have bad breath. but, just in case, i will keep those mints in mind and clean my tongue daily. |

Bad breathe can be solved by brushing your teeth every after meals. But I read that too much sugar in the diet and certain foods like onion, garlic or spicy food can result to bad breath also. Hunger also is a cause.

Yeah, it is also the cause of bad breath. It is great also to use mouthwash at least twice a day after brushing. Floss everyday.
