In winters since the air is cold our glands below our skin become inactive and this makes the skin dry. Cold winds in the winter also make red patches on the skin. So it is adviced to use a good lotion that will smoothed and moistures your skin. Occasional body oil massage will also help. Similarly the hair looses their shin in the winter. Dandruff is a common problem in the winter as the scalp becomes dry. Dryness also gets along various infections in the scalp. So you need to regularly clean your hair with a good shampoo that suits your hair type. Also massage your hair with warm coconut oil.

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately, even the best moisturizer helps only a little when the temperature plummets to 40 degrees Celsius below zero here in Montreal |

| Great advice I think the thing that bugs me most is my lips. They get so chapped and it's just so frustrating, b/c it seems no matter how much stuff I put on em, they're always needing more and more. I've been trying to drink more water too..
