I love my crocs! They are so nice because in the summer I can slip them on and my feet don't sweat! I still am amazed at this because of the material they are made of you would think that they would make your feet sweat.

I did buy my daughter a pair of fake crocs and they were horrible. Her feet were sticky, sweaty when she wore them. I guess that is why we pay the big bucks for the real deal.

Ive seen many people wear them, but not particularly fond of them. Even I thought that the material they are made out of would make your feet sweat, I suppose these are really good for those people whose feet sweat a lot.

I have not tried crocs yet. I don't really like the look of them, but I hear many people say that they are very comfortable. Perhaps I would consider them for beach or being in the yard.

To be honest, I just can't understand why crocs are so popular. I've been hearing that they were bad for your feet or something and that the company wasn't doing well because of the economy, something about the company making too many and not enough demand.

There is a post about how it's the fakes that aren't good for the feet ....

And why are you pissed off that a product is popular and probably will get the company to do better .... you think products should only be popular if the manufacture is in good economical state ?What sort of a logic is that ?

And if you think crocs are popular what makes you think there is surplus and not enough demand ??

Of course I read the preceding posts! I thought it would be an appropriate comment since we're talking about the same thing. It's not that I'm angry about the popularity, I was simply trying to understand the reasoning behind the popularity. My mentioning of the surplus was based on an article I'd read recently, not my own opinion.

And how can there be surplus .... when you yourself say "why crocs are so popular." they are popular ..

no matter how comfortable they are they still look ridiculous... sure I've got a pair. I wear them at the lake, and I am not at all ashamed to say I wore them all the time when I was pregnant, because YES they are comforable.

But that doesn't make up for how they look.

and yes, "Crocs" are in financial trouble. They make a fairly inexpensive, virtually indestrucable product. They are VERY well made shoes, people aren't having to keep buying a new pair because the old wore out.

So they last for a very long time. I didn't know that. Is that another reason why they're so popular?
