Default Baby Names

Thought I would open up a thread where we can all post names which can be used no matter of what religion or culture. And if there is an Indian name that too can be posted in the http://www.womensforum.in/baby-names/10-indian-baby-names.html section.

Some common baby names which I like are:

Dillon (named my son this)
Amrita
Armaan
Karan
Sophie
Preety
Sonia
Sana
Rubina
Jessika

What about Asmara, Saira, and Aziza. I think those are pretty cute names for girls, right? I like something that's interesting. If you can't stand out, at least your name can and be memorable.

I like Elizabeth May for a girl, or Dale William for a boy.

They're family names, but they just sound so pretty to me

I am fond of the name Lara. It was my grandmother's name. Family names draw people close together and provide identity.

My husband and I have 5 gorgeous kids and we tried to make their names unique as well as part family name. We have Destini Dawn, Trinity Rayne, Alexis Avalon, Logan Lazarus and Gavin Cyrus . Talk about a mouthful

And no matter how you look at it they are all unique in their own way

I really want allexandra or reira for my future baby girl's name. As for a baby boy it's kinda tough but I haven't thought about any names yet.

Maybe we should post names with its corresponding meaning so that it would be more helpful for those who wants to know the name meanings. Like me, when I was a month away to my delivery date I kept on browsing the internet for the baby names and its meaning.

That is a great Idea. And it would be neat to find out how you came up with the name . Like I know my daughters Alexis Avalon Her middle name came from King aurthor time. Trinity Rayne Rayne is a Native american name that my grand mother wanted us to name her. Destini dawn ( that one we did not get to choose ) but that is alright . Logan Lazarus , Lazarus is a biblical name and Logan is from the X Men movie because of Wolverine and Gavin Cyrus is a family name .

If you can't find a name that you really like, it's great if you can find an alternative spelling on an old name like Kairi (Kylie), Carren (Karen), and Myka (Micah). What do you think of those?

That is very true , I have a friend of mine that wanted something unique and instead of the name Michael ... she used Mikail .. I thought that was a neat name.

Steven Patrick is a nice name. He was my favorite instructor in literature during my college days.

Jean Claire sounds beautiful name for a girl.. It's a name of my favorite teacher in phonetics and semantics during my college days.

Biblical names are also amiable. Because those names sound God-fearing person.

David is a common name but biblical. He was a great warrior. Meaning .he's brave and tough.

I love the name Kayla Marie, for a girl. My husband doesn't care for it, but I would love to name our first little girl, Kayla Marie.

Also, I like:

Jeremiah, Andrew, Jpnathan, Damion.

Kaylee, Jade, Jacqueline, Ariana, Brianna.

Do you based the name of your baby from the bible, book which you admire most, or just created your unique name? Sometimes, books played a big influence in making our baby's name.

I think that it is great with a name that mixes both your favorite books and something that you put a twist on .
My utmost favorite girls name will always be Shannondrea Leah Storms . I know it is long but that name we used both family heritage fav bok and a twist to it .
