Default Strange Baby Names

I heard a name today that I had never heard before. There was a little girl on television and her name was Iona. I'm not sure if I like it or not.

What is the strangest baby name you have heard recently, and do you like it?

I think the name Brooklyn is very strange. It's cute, I guess, but just weird to name a kid after a place I guess.

I bet it would be hard for guys who have names that sound like girls'. I knew a few guys named Ashley. To me, it makes no difference, but they always got teased growing up. I think I would want to give my child a name that they wouldn't get teased for, just to be nice. I'm lucky my mom went with Brittany instead of Brittony lol. (Brih-ton-ey) lol. How weird would that have been???

Yea, I recently heard a boy that was called Tyler-Taylor. I'm not sure if his parents just couldn't decide on a name or what but it was a very strange name and I don't think I would call my kid such a weird name.

I've heard a lot of strange names just by being at school, but one type of name that I find irritates me is a name that is suited best as a last name. I remember hearing about someone who was named "Jackson."

I've heard of people having two last names, and I personally have two middle names, but two first names.. hmm.. that's interesting. Good thing about that is, they can choose which one they want to go by

Children with strange or unusual names often can't wait to be old enough to change them. I don't blame them, it can be pretty hard to go through life with a name that embarrasses you, especially at a young age.

I have a friend who has called her little boy Jackson-Joe, and his older brother is called Harrison. I can't say I like it really.

My youngest daughter is called Libby-Ann which I think is different, I don't know anyone else with the same name.

Here the names before are hillarious I mean it's still spanish based like in every name of a boy/girl there is ia or io at the end. I remember my FIL changed his name because of this and he never ever want someone to be calling him Artemio.
