hey mom and dad! did you find difficulty in feeding your baby for the first solid food intake? if yes any tricks? and what is the first solid food you prepared for the first time of your baby...?

my son HATED rice cereal but loves oatmeal.

as far as other foods, I make those. He has had carrots, avacado, peaches and brusselsprouts. his favorite is peaches and he does not care for the avacados at all!

i haven't had much trouble getting him to eat, but you might try waiting a few days before trying again. He may just not be ready yet, but keep trying.

My mom would mash up food so they were easier for my little sister and she would soak things like hard cereal in milk to make them softer and easier for them to chew.
I bet it's scary. I would be worried at this stage because I would be scared they'd choke. I'd be sitting soooo close at them and staring at them lol

You could play with them. The food is the airplane and it would land in their mouth. I guess this is very common but it's still effective. Sometimes, if they really don't like to eat then, I would give them milk instead. By the way, does your husband help you when you feed your child?
