Lightbulb Combating PMS

Herbal medicine can offer a more holistic approach for combating PMS. Parsley tea used for pre-menstrual fluid retention & 0.5ml/ 10drops of bitter orange tincture in water (3-4times a day) is used for breast distension.

Recent developments for herbal medicines say that a daily spoon of walnut or safflower oil can be used for PMS problems. These oils are sued due to their gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) also found in black current seed oil & starflower oil.

Please share any other remedies that you might have come across.

Sweetest of all the remedies! Taking a hot bath & having red wine are some more suggestions for cramps associated with PMS.

PMS is no fun. Everyone says I get really moody lol, but ya.. I can usually feel it coming on so I warn everyone. I usually give myself a break and let myself eat whatever I want more than usual and eat more sweets and coffee. I LOVE my Midol. I dunno what I would do without it. Luckily, I don't usually get cramps. However, lately they have been really bad. I dunno why that would change. Anyone know?

cafeine is like any other drug that affects the brain .. it has many inpacts on our body . caffeine addiction or overindulgence increases anxiety , irrtabiliy and moodiness aspects associated with PMS too.

To boot it is a diuretic and if you tend to bloat during your PMS then it is better to increase intake of water rather than take a diuretic that will increase your bloating

I don't take any medicine for the pain, and it is so painful like you were being tortured. I don't eat any food, and then I wait for the pain to be as unbearable as possible then go to sleep so my body can deal with it.
