Ok im a little confused, whats the different in ayurveda and herbal.

I always thought that both are the same and ayurveda is just a name given in hindi to herbal and natural medicines.

Can someone tell me whether there is a difference or not in the two names?

Good question, its something which i have also thought about. My theroy has been that both are similar but not the same. I think ayurveda uses mostly indian herbs, where as herbal uses general herbs which are easily avaiable easily worldwide.

I thought both are same. I don't know the difference. I somewhat understood from the information of workhard. Can anyone knows the difference?

Herbal is any natural method making use of herbs and other plant products.

Ayurveda is an entire field of traditional medicine which uses herbs in it.
It also uses other things like oils and heavy metals. For some people
it might work and for others they should stick with regular medicine.

There is not much difference in herbal & ayurveda medicine, the meaning is almost the same, the only difference is, Ayurveda medicine helps in rapid healing or recovery, being used or suggested from ancient times as medicine derived from plants which helps in healing and treatment, where as, herbal medicine modern technic of using natural methods for treating & healing, and is a slow process in recovery.

The word "Ayurveda" is known as the "knowledge of life".
