My fiance has just bought me this absolutely gorgeous evening dress to wear to a presentation for his father.

Now, I have never worn such a long dress before so it is going to take a bit of getting use to, but the big problem I do have (as always ) is how it hangs down off my bust, it almost makes me look fat or pregnant in a way!

I wonder girls. do you think I can get away with it as it is, or should I wear a nice wide belt and if so what colour would you suggest.....Also what type of bag should I use with it?.....I did think perhaps a nice gold clutch bag would go well with it, but I am open to suggestions.

Your thoughts and ideas will be of great help to me.

I would not suggest you wear a belt, as it dress is not the type where a belt will look good and its not the right material. What you possiably could do is get it altered, and have it tightened around your waist and bust area, so that it wont hand down.

Personally i think silver goes better with blue, and maybe then you can also wear silver heels, but if you like gold go for it.
