how can i wear saree not showing any skin in back or waist?

i haven't worn a saree before but need to wear for my school's batch party. i don't like to show any skin cos it's a big NO NO in my family. so can you guys help me on this. i've heard that draping the saree tightly will avoid showing any skin. is this true? would appreciate your help a lot.

She is wearing an extra long blouse, you could do that but doesn't look good.
You can leave the pallu extra long and then sort of wrap it around your waist.
