Default Swimsuits

It's that time of year. Time to go swimsuit shopping.

I always look for tankinis. I think that they make me look slimmer than a one piece suit.

What type of swimsuit do you like?

I usually buy a 1 piece suit but this year I'm looking for a tankini too. 2 pieces more fabric than a bikini.
I'm going to Jekyll Island for 10 days in August. I need a new swimsuit! We are shopping Saturday!

Wish me luck!

I think tankinies are the best swimsuits around. They are flattering to all body types. With most other suits you have to be careful with what you choose. Even if you are very slim some suits still don't look right on you. A tankini fits the bill for all ladies I think.

Tankini is a two-piece switsuit that almost covers you like a one-piece, if I am not mistaken? I have not tried it yet.

I prefer one-piece swimwear, I like the look and the feel of it.

Do you prefer any specific colors or color combinations for your swimwear? I like all shades of blue, and I also like yellow. I think they both have this summer / ocean feel!

I didn't get a new suit. Man I'm surprised at how few each store has this season. It's like they skipped summer and already have out back to school clothes.

I'm shopping at LL Bean and Lands End next Tuesday.

I prefer one piece also. I'm not comfy with 2 piece and shy to wear it. But if i want to try hmmm guess i need to think about that first.

I love 2-piece swimsuits. I just bought one - a choco colored one and it looks fantastic. I bought a wonderful cover up too. Just in case I'd get too shy.

Tankinis are two pieces. The top usually comes right to the bottoms, so it gives you the coverage of a one piece.

The great thing about tankinis are they cover up the belly area better than a one piece.

I've never had a tankini, and I like the look of them. I want my belly covered, that's why I usually go for one-piece swimwear. Tankini does that, and it has a neat look to it. I might opt for one when I go swimwear shopping this year.

I found one! Yes ... yeah me! I found my new suit at Lands End. I love it. I'm top heavy so I had to get a full figure top and a regular bottom. I love it! It was a bit expensive, but well worth it.

I'm going to go online and look for another one at their online store. Now that I know what size I wear in their suits.

I got a tankini!

Heh, my room mate has a vast collection of bikinis. Alas, I've just got a Nike sports two-piece. It's cool looking and stays put, which is nice, though the top is designed like a sports bra so its not really designed to bolster one's looks. Ah, I look forward to getting to the beach soon.

I think two-piece suits are great for people who are slim but I think those with flab or on the plump side might be better sticking to one-piece swimsuits. Same goes for older women. People don't enjoy seeing unsightly flab.

Summer is almost over for us, once the kids are back to school, we hardly ever go swimming anymore. As for the tankinis, I have never tried one but I usually go for one-piece swimsuits. Not only are they flattering but they are also very comfortable as well.

I personally do not think that the younger Kids should wear the 2 piece suits . To me they are way to provocative and revealing for the kids that are a lot younger. I know my sister is 12 and my mom gave her a 2 piece and now she looks like she is 16 or 18 to me that is not smart or safe .
