Default Dressing for the holidays

Do you get all dressed up for Christmas and New Years?

I use to always wear a dress on Christmas day. Then I realized that I am home, so I should just be comfortable.
I dress up for New Years only if going out on the town.

I don't dress up or do anything special for Christmas - the only thing we do in the house get the kids up in the morning and have breakfast together and open up the gifts. Then, it's a day just like all the other ones

My son is an adult, so it is pretty much a day of relaxation. We usually eat light. We use to exchange gifts; however, not so much now. It is an enjoyable stress-free day for all.

I don't dress up, either. I don't like dressing up for special occasions; I usually wear something very relaxing unless I'm going somewhere expensive or special. The most dressing up that I'll probably be doing is putting on an extra layer of clothing for when it gets cold.

I don't dress up, but I think that would be really fun. This year I'm going to a new years party with my little sister, and I'm really excited. She's going to do my makeup for me and everything

No one really dresses up, however I try making an effort to dress up or can say look better than the usual days, just to make the day more special and also be ready for if anyone wants to come round or we may go to see family, this goes for generally all holidays, be it Christmas, New Years Day, Diwali etc!

It's great that people can get all dressed up to help them get into the spirit of the holidays, but I don't think I could do that. I do like to look at all the festive clothing that other people wear.
