My sister was just online looking at sales at Wet Seal and she found pasties on sale. It made me wonder.. what is the purpose of them? The only thing I can think of is celebs use em in case they have a 'wardrobe malfunction' like Janet Jackson lol

I've read that they are also used in topless bars to comply with the local laws against the full toplessness. Some people also wear them instead of bras - they are much more liberating, lol!

I suppose they'd be good if you have a semi-sheer or sheer top. That would be my reason for wearing them.

Lolz. Seriously it doesn't look comfy to me. =)) But at least you have an option incase you want to wear some tube without using a strapless bra.

Oh, gosh, I've never gotten along with strapless bras. They always make my boobs look funny.

My friend used them under her dress for our highschool prom. She had a heck of a time putting them on and making them stay though even with the stuff they give you as adhesive
