Default What do you think of a woman in her 50s wearing teen clothes?

I have seen some women in their 50s and 60s wearing clothes fit for teenagers. Like those tight fitting jeans, short fitting shirts, mini skirts. Sometimes, they look awkward. I find them funny. How about you?

Default Dress Sense

I feel everyone should wear dresses as that would suit them well irrespective of age.

I say, let them dress how they want to. If that is how they feel comfortable, good for them!

I don't see many people like that where I live; it's a pretty conservative neighborhood. People that dress like that just want attention.

well it doesnt matter what age group the clothes are for, as long as they suit the person and look good, i mean you dont want to look odd or even weird, where you will just be stared at or talked about!

I believe everyone has the freedom to dress as they please but no matter what their wearing it should be respectable at least. Short skirts, tight dresses, and tights shirt are fine as long as private parts aren't hanging out for everyone to see. Its bad for kids to see that kind of stuff, bad image.

my mom just turned 50 last year, and she still wears clothes from top shop and the likes. it suits her quite well, and when we go out with my 2 sisters, we're all mistaken as sisters! i guess as long as it suits the one who's wearing the clothes, and if she's comfortable wearing them, there shouldn't really be an issue.

I think that everyone has a right to wear what they want, but that doesn't mean it looks good! It's fine if you are 50 and still have the body of a 19 year old. But if you don't, I think it's best to dress in clothes that flatter your body. Also, I think that women should dress comfortably and in a style that expresses who they are, how they feel, etc...

Wear clothes that you are more comfortable. And guess it would be your own prerogative if it looks good on you or not right?

Wow that's a cool one even if she's at her 50s huh. I say let them be they have their own fashion sense and to them age doesn't matter to be fashionable. My mom is at her mid 40s but she still wears clothes that teens used to wear but not the mini skirt haha.

It doesn't really bother me when other women wear those kind of clothes even if they are older women, but it puts them in a certain state of mind, and they follow this idealized form of beauty. They then continue to hold themselves to a standard that they held when they were younger. If they think they can't look beautiful, what happens to them then?

I think its okay for some older women to wear teen clothes as long as they look respectable and act their age.

I think it's almost impossible for these older women to actually act their age and look respectable. When a lot of these women dress like this, they're being immature. Sometimes, it's harder for others to take these people seriously, making it difficult to respect them.

I say to each his own. If that makes them happy so be it. It's not our money they are using to pay for those clothes and if we don't want to look just look the other way. Honestly, it's non of our business!
