Default Taking unwanted dog

Last weekend we went camping and this lovely dog adopted us. She was so friendly. She stayed right at our campsite for two days and nights. Finally we decided to walk around outside of the campground to find the owners. When we did, the man wasn't even concerned that his dog had been gone. The neighbor told us that he is really mean to the dog.

We left the campground and later that night my neice called to say that the dog was back.

My son is going back up there camping this coming weekend . He said if the dog is there , he is taking her home.

Would you take her home, or back to the owner?

Oh, I would probably take her home! Some might say it is stealing, but you know what, when someone is mean to an animal, I don't care. Dogs are very attached to their owners, even abusive ones, so if she left him and spent so much time with you, that tells a lot.

If I knew for definite that the dog was been mistreated then I might go to the authorities, if the dog was friendly towards you the owner must be showing the dog some love ? not sure guess I'd have to be in the situation to know for definite. Let us know how you get on.

I think animals are more affectionate than human beings. Better you can take to your home, but with the permission of the owner.

I would take the dog. I have a real soft spot for cats and dogs and I feel bad seeing them being abused. If the owner didn't care when the dog was gone, he is obviously not a very good pet owner and he shouldn't even bother to have any. So, yes, I would definitely adopt her and give her lots of love.

I mean, if it didn't have any tags, I would take it for sure if I was able to

If you really can take care, please take it.
I adopted a dog last weekend from a group that recues abandoned dogs from streets. I had to change all my daily schedule to take good care of her. It demands a lot of time and patient, but it's so worth it because this dog is an angel. She has brought much happiness to my house.
The guy from the organization said that she had been abandoned in a box and some children found her starving.

Thank God she found a home with me.
