Default New leopard species found :)

I thought you guys might enjoy this. I'm just looking at news stories lately. It's so strange to me that we have lived on land for SO long and have yet to discover everything!! Isn't it cute?

It's just so strange thought lol. I mean, I understand not knowing what's under water, b/c we don't live there, but on LAND?! That seems so insane lol. Anyway, just kinda blows my mind

Sorry to burst your bubble Abeja, they didn't discover this animal recently,
they were always there and we knew about them. They just classified
this as a new species after genetic testing.

-F

The Sundaland clouded leopard was classified as a new species through genetic studies several years ago and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature designated it as endangered in 2008.
