I think it's really neat here at the Seattle Zoo! There is a Peacock that just randomly is roaming around everwhere. It's beautiful!!

I love peacocks! The diversity of colors together is really amazing. I find them a kind of natural art.

I agree with you..they are so fascinating! It's crazy how big their feathers are.

They are pretty, but they are not very good at singing. I remember watching a cartoon about this guy who thought that birds who are so beautiful must have beautiful voices as well, so he went through all kinds of trouble to find a peacock and make her sing. And when she did, he actually stopped his ears.

I love them too! We've got a few roaming the Sedgwick County Zoo (Wichita). Sucks that in nature the men are always the pretty ones! Good thing thats not true with humans!!!! LOL
