Smile I love my kitty!

Have you ever had an animal unexpectedly teach you some truth about life? My cat did. Everyone morning she waits for me to come out of the bedroom to feed her. After she's eaten she always wants me to pick her up and hold her. She will follow me around if I don't.

One day it just it hit me that that's how we should be with those we love. It's easy to get super-busy and not make time for our loved ones. But sometimes we just need to stop what we're doing and make time for them by calling, visiting, etc.

Yes, my cats have taught me a lot about life, too, and continue to do so. I have noticed that while being fed is important, being loved is far more important to them. They want fellowship. They come to you and cuddle, not because they are hungry but because they want to be next to you. It is so touching.

OOOh that's one clever kitty. I don't have a kitty most people here don't like to have one. They prefer dogs since our place is always prone to robbery.

I had no idea that cats could be so needy. In college, one of my roommates had a cat. The roommate was at work a lot, so it would be left in the apartment. It would come up to me a lot or stick its paw under my door to get my attention.

That's a great lesson. I'm sure we could learn so much from our animals if we just paid attention more They're so loving, forgiving and just amazing to be around. I'm not sure what I would do without my dog (and new kitty) because they keep me busy
