| I never had potty trained a dog until I got my Dachshund earlier this year. It's pretty tough, because they seem to have to go at the weirdest times and it's not very consistent lol. What made things really tough was, my bf and I at the time worked a lot and were tired a lot so it took longer. Honestly though, when it got down to it, it really only took us 3 days What a smart little cutie!!

LOL, it seems it is easier to potty-train a dog than a little toddler. I've had to train my two daughters and even though it wasn't too hard, I don't think I'd have the same patience for a doggie |

| It definitely takes patience and lots of it. My dog had many accidents before getting it down. Even then, if he got too excited, he would go in the house lol

I was very lucky, my dog potty trained in a matter of 2 days. I was home all day with her and I would take her outside about every hour and tell her to go potty. If she did, I would giver her a treat and lots of praise. It went on and on, over and over for those 2 days, but in the end she learned pretty quickly.
