Default How to feel more secure in groups?

As many of you know, I have anxiety. It has really affected me badly since last summer and I worry about it getting worse. I just don't hang out with people much anymore. I rarely leave the house. I don't wanna become agoraphobic, but I just don't feel secure outside of my comfort zone. I know I should call my friends more, I know I should go out ALONE, as scary as that sounds, but I just don't. Do you think that's okay? I mean, it's not like I have NO human contact or anything, just not as much as I probably should..

Chill out! I have suffered from anxiety attacks in past but now somehow have managed to control them simply by ignoring the situations, criticism & even specific people.

I had tried visiting good psychiatrist & it did help. Now I can manage people around me without them affecting me.

I have come to the conclusion that I really do need my meds. I came off them for like 2 months or so. I don't think they started kicking in until right after I had made this post

My meds give me that extra boost that I need, both of energy and just confidence. They really calm my brain down so I don't have all the racing thoughts. The racing thoughts are what lead to me freaking out because I was constantly over-thinking EVERYTHING.

But ya, things are better now.. I know I still have work to do.

Thanks for the tips! It's always nice to be reminded that I'm not alone in this
