I created my own website today which has always been a dream of mine. It has blogs and forums. However, now that the main part of it is done.. how do I get people to join? Has anyone of you ever had your own site? What did you do to promote it??

hello abeja! congrats on your website it looks good. As for me, I would just give tips based on my experience. You can promote your site through forums. Put the link on your signature, private message some members, otherwise create a thread regarding that. If you have some traffic exchange site you can also add it there, at least people will see your site, and if interested they might even join it.

It's in my signature. I would say, if any of you want to do it, go for it because I'm TERRIBLE at stuff like this and I did it hehehe It's just kinda to get a place where all my friends can meet and keep in touch better
