 How long does it take?
I was just kinda curious how long it takes to adopt a child? I know there's a lot of paperwork involved, and probably a background check and all of that. Could someone explain the whole process to me, please? Thanks  I've just heard a lot of people saying that they would rather have a kid, because it takes so long to adopt. So, I'm imagining it takes years. However, that seems like a really long time to me

That would depends on your status. If they think you can't support the child, you will be declined. Some people with very good status can adopt a child in no less than 1 month.

Oh okay, that's not that bad. It seems like the system is very thorough so that's a good thing
