Is there any red tape involved in adopting a child? I want to adopt a kid, and I was wondering how much you have to pay to adopt and what kind of trouble you can expect to go through.

Well according to something I read in the paper recently red tape is involved when it comes to adopting a child, I cant remember any other information on this, but if I find the paper I will post the other details about this in this thread.

We know a couple who has adopted two girls from China. Yes, it costs some money, and there is some very annoying paperwork. They don't go into details since it is all now in the past, and they are enjoying being a family, but you need to be prepared for that. It's not an easy process.
